Mise En Place. Or: Adventures in Food Prep.

It’s Daylight Savings Sunday—the bad one, not the good one. B is working on a stair rail we need for certification, and I, even though it’s just 5:15 (so actually 4:15), have prepped to cook dinner tonight.

It’s Tandoori Quinoa from Yup It’s Vegan, and one of my favorite, go-to dishes. You can find the recipe here.

I’m a little obsessed with mise en place. How about you? Do you prep everything before you begin, or just some? What’s your favorite culinary trick? (Mine is using the pre-minced garlic because I’m a monster, apparently.) Let me know in the comments!
